Exceptional DREAMS is built on community. Volunteers and mentors play an important role in supporting students, families, and educators through encouragement, shared experience, and thoughtful guidance. We welcome individuals who believe in strength-based, inclusive approaches and who value students for who they are.
Educators, specialists, or professionals with relevant experience.
Adults with lived experience in neurodiversity, giftedness, or special education.
College students or community members interested in advocacy and mentorship.
Older students with shared experiences.
Individuals who value listening, collaboration, and student-centered support.
You do not need to have all the answers — curiosity, respect, and care matter most. Sometimes, relationships can be built simply on a shared special interest.
Roles and involvement vary based on availability and organizational needs
All volunteers and mentors are expected to follow organizational values and guidelines
Some roles may require additional screening or references
Participation does not involve providing medical, therapeutic, or legal services
