Volunteers and mentors play an important role in supporting students, families, and educators through encouragement, shared experience, and thoughtful guidance. We welcome individuals who believe in strength-based, inclusive approaches and who value students for who they are.

Educators, specialists, or professionals with relevant experience.
Adults with lived experience in neurodiversity, giftedness, or special education.
College students or community members interested in advocacy and mentorship.
Older students with shared experiences.
Individuals who value listening, collaboration, and student-centered support.
You do not need to have all the answers — curiosity, respect, and care matter most. Sometimes, relationships can be built simply on a shared special interest.

Mentorship - Commit to a small or big role and connect one-on-one with students to explore their interests, build their confidence, and help them navigate social or educational challenges. Mentors act as a steady, supportive presence who models self-advocacy and values the student’s unique perspective.

Volunteer Support - Assist with behind-the-scenes needs or program operations. Volunteers can help moderate community spaces, provide creative input, organize resource library materials, assist during events, or provide administrative support that keeps our organization running smoothly.
